Typographic Wall Calendar

Gizmodiva: The Typographic Wall Calendar is creativity at its best. It just shows how much more you can do to any genre if you have the right ideas. The “2012 Typographic Wall Calendar” is a project to produce a large (70cm x 100cm / 27.56in x 39.37in) printed wall calendar for the year 2012. It will consist of two-thousand and twelve used keyboard keys. the brilliant part is that they will be manually placed to write out all days of the year 2012. It’s a fully usable calendar which uses fun and creativity to find dates. You must read the grid from left to right as they read each day of the year in sequence: January Sun 01 Mon 02 Tue 03, etc. The process is quite simple really and it’s easy to get a hang of it. The response to this has been overwhelming. Many calendars are being made as I write this. The project will be completed by November 6 to ensure the calendars are ready for the holiday season. So go on and make your contribution here. It’s a perfect calendar/gift for nerds and geeks, that’s for sure. I’ve never seen a more innovative calendar.
