Surf Air is an “all-you-can-fly” start-up for frequent fliers that is disrupting the market for intercity air travel in California, offering private jet travel at near-commercial pricing.
Surf Air’s business model is radical in its simplicity. After a one-time fee of $1,000, members pay $1,750 a month. Then they fly all they want, every day if desired, wherever the airline goes.
You can arrive 15 minutes before departure, drop your car at the door of a private terminal with free valet parking, and ask the included concierge service to have a taxi, Uber vehicle or rental car waiting at your destination.
For frequent fliers, the cost is competitive with commercial airlines and far less than fractional ownership of a private jet or turboprop.
