Set to hit stores for approximately $50, the brush wirelessly communicates vital teeth-polishing stats to the user’s smartphone via an accompanying app and a sensor that tracks exactly how long bristles are scrubbing.
The app also provides a handy visual timer so users can meet the recommended two-minute brushing mark. For now the Beam Brush merely tracks the length of brushing sessions over time. Future versions plan even more comprehensive tracking, including the ability to specifically monitor which sections of the mouth have been brushed so as to direct users toward oft neglected areas.
