Nintendo has released a new version of the Wii, called the Wii U. The Wii U now supports hi-def graphics and comes in 2 versions: the “Basic” with 8 GB of storage or the “Deluxe/Premium” with 32 GB of storage. It also features a GamePad, which is not only the Wii’s main controller, but also a portable player that has a touch screen and “off TV play”. You can have up to two GamePads per Wii U console. The Wii U Pro controller is also a new addition. It has the standard buttons and triggers, but is now comparable to other gaming controllers, such as the Microsoft Xbox 360 controller.
