  1. The Google Patents Search Site http://www.Google.com/patents is a cut above the government site http://patft.uspto.gov. Type in any company’s name, or even the specific technology, and you will be able to retrieve almost all the related patents – something which was excruciatingly difficult with the USPTO site. (Not blaming the USPTO, they have at least provided something to the public for free)
