Social Networking and smartphone messengers have dropped the basic personal communication opportunities. It is affecting people in a negative way, as reports say that Facebook can make you miserable and envious. Graphic designer Pat C. Klein wanted to encourage communicating and interacting with each other face to face. He came up with a game called Facebook: The Board Game that can encourage people to interact in real life. The idea is that instead of engaging with Facebook on your computer or phone, you can arrange to meet up with friends, have a few drinks, and play in real life. The game includes penalties for leaving the computer unattended and forgetting your password, serving to comment on how we use the internet today.
