Garage Door Opener with Flash2Pass

Imagine opening your garage without fumbling with a remote or worrying whether or not the batteries still have a charge. With Flash2Pass, you can actually turn your car’s headlight system garage door opener.

Flash2Pass is a product that turns your car’s headlight high beam switch into a door opener for your automatic garage door. The system will send a radio signal to your opener, signaling it to engage and open the door. While this is relatively new technology, it works with openers manufactured since 1982. As long as your car has a 12-volt system, you can use Flash2Pass to open your garage door.

The Flash2Pass system is designed so that you can install it yourself at home. In fact, as long as you can follow the instructions, it should take very little time to install. Simply install the transmitter under the hood of the car near a headlight. Attach the wires as instructed in the manual, tapping into the car’s existing wiring without cutting anything, and you are ready to go. Of course, if you are not comfortable performing this type of installation, you can have it professionally installed, and the easy installation makes this quite affordable.

Flash2Pass works on motorcycles as well as cars and trucks. This eliminates the problem of coming home after a long ride to find your opener is broken or, worse, lost.
