A mobile service by Acotel Group, The Pope’s Thought of the Day is a daily premium SMS, or text message, containing thoughts, prayers and guidance taken directly from the Pontiff’s teachings and delivered to you on your mobile phone. US consumers of AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless and Cingular can subscribe by sending a SMS containing the words ‘POPE ON’ to the number 24444. Beginning the following day, the Pope’s Thought of the Day will be delivered as a premium SMS to the subscriber’s mobile phone at 12:00pm Eastern Time (ET) each day, seven days a week. Each message costs $0.30.
