Japan Healthcare Info (JHI) is a social entrepreneur organization founded in 2010. It’s a medical translation service in Japan which allows non-Japanese to make contact with appropriate medical institutions, have appointments arranged on their behalf so they can receive appropriate medical treatment.
This is extremely useful for people who aren’t 100% fluent in Japanese. Yet the international community is able make use of this translation service to take advantage of Japan’s unique medical system in which one seek helps not from a general practitioner but to see doctor’s according to their speciality.
