BBC News has an interesting article about the big role feelings and emotions are going to play in this high-tech world. There are many projects popping up all over the world to allow us to communicate our emotions to our loved ones with more than just words and our voice. For example:
US artist Alison Lewis has developed some hi-tech mood rings that are wirelessly interconnected. Squeezing one of the “Think of Me” rings makes the other heat up, giving people a way to let a partner know when they are thinking of them.
And there’s this project involving interconnected pillows that let people who are far apart maintain a link with each other. When one pillow is hugged or squeezed, its partner pillow will light up. Interesting, eh?
