So, what’s a Smart Motor? It’s the marriage of a tiny computer with a motor. In essence, each Moti is it’s own robot. The most useful features are already built-in, including: a programmable microcontroller (Arduino-compatible), on-board sensors, full-turn position sensing, IO pins for adding electronics, a web-API, instant networking, all in a standard servo case. You can even control the motors wirelessly over bluetooth. The grunt work is already done, so you can focus on creative applications.
Moti makes it easy to get a robot moving. Just use the ready-made app to control each motor with simple graphics like dials and sliders. For more advanced projects, add sensors to each Moti, or even build your own websites to control your robots. Suggested applications include: home-automation, animatronics, stop motion, camera dollies, window display, toys, tools, DIY robots, product development and more.
